Folding machines are the oldest bending system. Nowadays, thanks to 3D software assistance, it is not necessary to program the part to be folded; the software itself handles the automatic creation of the program from a drawing or a STEP file. The characteristics of the folding beam allow for the creation of geometries that can never be achieved on a conventional press brake.
